- MAGICAL 12TH CENTURY ABBEY | SUFFOLK
Deep in the beautiful countryside of the Suffolk coast, Accommodating 16 people, Butley Priory is a former Augustinian monastery one of the most atmospheric and unusual houses in England – with its stone vaulted arches, huge fireplaces and enormous bedrooms, the very fabric of the building is steeped in romance and history.

Just a mile away from the lovely sandy beaches of Swanage Bay ‘The Manor’ dates back to the early 1600s and is a magnificent listed building with 8 bedrooms and 9 bath/shower rooms. Think ornate oak panelling and wood carvings!

This elegant country farmhouse, located just one mile from Stamford (Bee’s hometown!) sleeps 16 and is set in one and a half acres of private gardens, with spacious rooms and high ceilings. As an added bonus there is a large hot tub in the courtyard and a games room.

Coat Barn is located in a gorgeous ham stone hamlet in Somerset. With 6000sq of amazing space -all bedrooms have en-suites and you have your own private courtyard, pool (yes, swimming pool!), play area and bbq.

One of the smaller hoses that we have chosen, but look! It is on a beach – enough said. Situated on the miles of sandy beach in Camber, close to Rye and within easy access from London you can see why this made out shortlist.

9. RIVERSIDE CABIN | CORNWALL
Another of our smaller choices, sleeping just 4 guests, but just look at that setting! A rustic Cornish getaway, only 15 minutes from Falmouth ‘The Cabin’ is set in a woodland garden, with a firepit for outdoor cooking, swings and a stream to paddle in. We’re thinking outdoor ceremony with a celebrant officiating, and then you can sit around the campfire listening to Bon Iver until late into the night.

Set in the grounds of 5 * Rushton Hall hotel and Spa ‘The Dower House” was once a coaching inn.
