The Cotswolds is an area in the south west of England and stretches over an area of 787 square miles and is a beautiful place to have your wedding. It takes its name from the Cotswold Hills, a chain of rolling hills that run through the region and are part of the larger range known as the Mid-West England Downs - we love creating wedding photography in the Cotswolds. This region is famed for its breathtakingly beautiful countryside, dotted with postcard-perfect villages with limestone walls, ancient churches and picture-perfect thatched cottages, a wedding photographers paradise. The Cotswolds has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is home to so many awesome places including picturesque market towns such as Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the Water and Broadway; idyllic gardens like Hidcote Manor Gardens; historic castles like Sudeley Castle; National Trust properties like Snowshill Manor; and even prehistoric sites such as Belas Knap Long Barrow. This part of England has been popular with visitors for centuries due to its natural beauty, rich history and cultural heritage.
