It has been a long while since I’ve shot a wedding at Ruthin Castle in North Wales and so I was really excited when the big day came for Claire and Adam.
Ruthin Castle is one heck of a wedding venue … you can just feel the history oozing out of the ancient walls.

Bridal prep began at one of my local venues, and one I am proud to be recommended by – The Grosvenor. From there Claire was picked up like royalty in a horse and carriage and whisked off to St Johns Church near the amphitheatre in Chester for a beautiful ceremony conducted by the Reverend Chesters … yep, that’s his name :)

After the ceremony I raced off to a secret location to board a helicopter bound for Ruthin Castle! This was a complete surprise for Adam from Claire and it was great to see his face when he realised how he was getting to his wedding venue.

After an awesome journey soaring over the beautiful North Wales countryside we arrived at at Ruthin Castle in the glorious sunshine to continue the party.
