Photography is a big part of our lives – recording memories is so so important. Your wedding photography is probably one of the most valuable things you’ll take away from your wedding (other than being married of course!), as it is the one lasting visual reminder of all those special moments you’ve shared with your friends and family. It sounds cliched but once the cake has been eaten, and your feet have recovered from throwing shapes on the dance floor all night, your wedding photographs are going to be the one tangible thing that you can look back on and treasure for years to come.
We have an enormous amount of experience when it comes to destination weddings – over the last 20 years we’ve travelled the globe documenting unique wedding celebrations. It is through the numerous awards that we have won; our vast experience; our inside knowledge of weddings; and our very high standard of photography, that we feel really sets our bar incredibly high. We take on a limited number of destination weddings each year as we take enormous pride in the quality of our imagery and we get booked up super quickly – up to 1-2 years in advance. Once you've booked us we're always here if you have any questions at all, would like any recommendations for other suppliers, or would just like to have a chat and a catch up. We'll of course be in touch with you during the build up too to see how your plans are coming along.
Roughly 6-8 weeks before the big day we'll be in touch to ask you to fill in your pre-wedding questionnaire, which outlines all the timings for your day, any group shots you'd like, and gives us all the information we need to make sure the day runs smoothly. We'll also pop over a 'wedding tips' information booklet which gives you lots of tips on how to get the best out of your photography and how best to prepare photography-wise.
For destination weddings we always try to arrive a day or so in advance of your wedding so that we can avoid travel delays, check out the best photography locations, meet you guys and you can be safe in the knowledge that we're already there and ready to roll.
There are two things that are important to me as a wedding photographer, and are what drive me at every destination wedding I document.
Telling YOUR story
Creating relaxed and fun couple portraits
You've probably read the same cliche statements over and over again by now "unobtrusive, working in the shadows, fly on the wall" etc. Well, that just isn't me. For me, great story telling photographs are the ones that are created from within the action, and this is the approach I take at every wedding. I make a real effort to get to know everyone at your wedding and I shoot your day from close quarters. You'll know I'm there - I won't hide in the shadows. I'm basically a friend on the day who can create awesome pictures (it sounds cheesy but it's honest!)
I love creating unique couple portraits for our couples, and I see the next destination wedding I shoot as an opportunity to push my creative vision even more so than the last. My goal is to create pictures that are truly unique to you.
Bee will put together a sneak preview of your wedding photographs in the days following your wedding - you can usually expect to see these photographs within a week of your wedding.
Within 8-10 weeks of your big day your official highlight photos will be ready for you to see. These highlights are presented in a beautiful 20 minute long slideshow set to music and really let you re-live your day fully. In the following week your full set of wedding images will be ready to view in your personal (password protected) online gallery. Your images will be available for download immediately so that you can get busy printing.
If you've opted for an album, you just need to choose the type of album you'd like to go for and the images you'd like to appear in it. We will then create some proof album designs for you. It's no problem at all to make changes to these designs. On your approval your album should be ready within 8 weeks.

A little bit about us ...
We're sure you already know all about us, but just in case - we're Liam + Bee and we are a husband and wife team who have been photographing weddings UK wide and internationally in our unique style since 2002. Liam is the man behind the camera and Bee is tucked away in our digital darkroom working on images.
For us, being part of people's weddings is amazing. We've been really lucky to have been part of over 1000 weddings since starting out over 21 years ago, and have won many awards - including UK wedding photographer of the year three times. We are very proud to be named as one of the top 150 photographers in the world through SLR Lounge and one of the top 50 destination wedding photographers in the world through Junebug Weddings.
